Does acai berry *really* work?

Question by Jon Luc: Does acai berry *really* work?
“Lose 20 lbs in 2 weeks!” Are these claims ridiculous? What are the side effects if any? BTW, I don’t want pills or liquid forms. I just want the natural berries. What’s the special ingredient in acai berries that work the *magic*? What diet plan is attached with it as far as number of calories to consume and exercise?

Okay, these are false claims. There are no side effects to açaí berries, but you will not lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks. I know this because I am part Brasilian and I visit Brasil every year. Açaí berries contain a lot of sugar and are kid of fatty, but it’s all natural so it’s good for you. They are not magic though. You will not magically lose weight by eating them. They are like regular fruit. They will help flush out your digestive system, and boost your immune system. People have just said that they are “magic” since they only grow in South America, and North Americans will believe this fruit is magic, since it’s exotic. Sorry to disappoint you.
